For candidates applying for Junior hydrologist post, upper age limit of 35 years is applicable. .

Upto a maximum of 5 years in the case of ECOs/SSCOs who have completed an initial period of assignment of 5 years Military Service as on 1st January, 2016 and whose ass ignment has been extended beyond 5 years and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issue a certificate that they can apply for civil employment and that they will be released on 3 month's notice on selection from the date of receipt of offer of appointment. Final Selection of the Candidates shall based on the All India Merit List drawn up on the basis of the Sufficient High Marks secured both in Part I consisting of the Written Test and Part II having Personal Interview / Personality Test..
